Shipping & Order Processing Policy

  • Shipping Days: Orders are shipped from Monday to Wednesday. You will receive an email notification with your FedEx tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

  • Payment Timing and Shipping Schedule:

    • Payments received on Wednesday (after 12 PM EST), Thursday, and Friday will result in your order being shipped on the following Monday.
    • Payments received on Saturday and Sunday will also have their orders shipped on the upcoming Monday.

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed in the order they are received. During peak times, processing may take longer than one day.

  • Shipping Estimates: Overnight shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary based on your location.

  • FedEx Depot Shipping: If you prefer to have your order held at a FedEx depot, please provide the depot address in the "Shipping Address" section or in the comments section of your order.

  • Address Accuracy: Ensure you provide a safe and accurate shipping address. Double-check your address in the order confirmation, as we are not responsible for refunds if FedEx determines the location is unsafe for delivery.

  • Responsibility for Packages: Inverts Bay is not liable for misplaced, lost, or stolen packages during transit. FedEx is responsible for such issues. We will assist with tracking and addressing missing packages to the best of our ability.

  • Shipping Delays: We have no control over shipping delays. For issues with tracking or delays, please contact FedEx customer service. We will support you in obtaining transit information and resolving issues.

  • Claims Processing: Claims will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may take up to 3 weeks to process. We appreciate your patience as we work with FedEx to resolve any issues. Filing a claim does not guarantee compensation from FedEx, but we will assist you through the process.

  • Dispute Resolution: Customers agree not to initiate a chargeback for a completed order without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us.

Important Info

  • Orders will be shipped to the address given at checkout.
  • Inverts Bay DOES NOT ship to P.O. Box address.
  • Inverts Bay WILL NOT refund orders that were given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid address.
  • NO REFUND on shipping cost for any reasons.

 

Domestic Shipping and Handling Rates

  • Flat Rate Shipping:

    • Quebec: $45 (Free for orders over $450)
    • Ontario: $40 (Free for orders over $350)
    • Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island: $65 (Free for orders over $450)
    • Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan: $55 (Free for orders over $450)

  • Large and Heavy Items

    • Large and heavy items, such as Red Sea Reefer AIO Setups, require additional care for safe delivery. Once the order is completed and payment is received, these items will remain in an unfulfilled state until further arrangements are made. We will contact you once we receive the order to confirm the shipping option, price and payment. Contact us directly for any questions or for a quote.

Availability: Shipping is only available within Canada. Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Inverts Bay Company does not ship to P.O. Boxes. We will not issue refunds for orders with insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid addresses. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Local Pickup

  • Orders are typically ready for pick up shortly after your online order has been processed, but we reserve the right to 24 hours.
  • Orders can be picked up at any time during normal store hours once ready.
  • When you arrive at the store please give us your order number/s and show the confirmation email and we will pack your items for you.
  • If you have a large order or are in a hurry you can give the store a call when you are on your way and we will begin packing the order before you arrive.
  • The less time your livestock spends in bags the better - so we prefer to pack as close to pick up time as possible.

 

Non-Live Sale Ordering Policy

  • Processing Time: Orders from Inverts Bay Company will be processed once all payments have cleared and may take up to 3 days to prepare. Payments received after 12 PM EST on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will ship on the following Monday. Payments received on Saturday and Sunday will ship on the upcoming Tuesday.

  • Shipping Address: Customers are responsible for providing a reliable and accurate shipping address. Please verify your address in the order confirmation.

  • Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for orders where our shipping provider deems the delivery location unsafe. Inverts Bay Company is not liable for misplaced, lost, or stolen packages during transit. The shipping provider is responsible under all circumstances. We will assist you in tracking missing packages and obtaining transit information. Claims may take up to 3 weeks to process, and filing a claim does not guarantee compensation.

  • Dispute Resolution: Customers agree not to charge back a completed order without first attempting to resolve the issue with Inverts Bay Company.

Live Sale Ordering Policy

  • Stock Availability: Inventory for live goods is not tracked in real-time. Orders are subject to a maximum 24-hour processing period to ensure accurate and safe delivery. Customers will be notified if their selected livestock is unavailable.

  • Payment Verification: Orders with unverified or pending payments will be suspended until payment arrangements are made. The processing time begins once payment is confirmed.

  • Shipping Address: Customers are responsible for providing a reliable and accurate shipping address. Refunds will not be issued for orders where our shipping provider deems the delivery location unsafe. Inverts Bay Company is not responsible for misplaced, lost, or stolen packages during transit. We will assist in addressing missing packages. Delays in shipping are beyond our control. Contact the shipping provider customer service for tracking and shipping inquiries. Claims for lost or stolen packages may take up to 3 weeks to process.
